As a member of the Strain Engineering team, you will create and test novel yeast strains for pheromone production. Specific tasks include:

Job description
As a member of the Strain Engineering team, you will create and test novel yeast strains for pheromone production. Specific tasks include:
- Perform advanced strain engineering
- Document results using ELN systems
- Continuously review and improve experimental methods and workflows
- Contribute to laboratory and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- BSC or MSc in biotechnology
- Hands-on experience with metabolic engineering of yeasts
- Experience with bioreactors and analytical techniques a plus
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures in microbiology laboratories
- A good command of Microsoft Office Applications
- Fluent in English, oral and written
- Self-reliant team player with efficient and meticulous work and documentation routines
