We are currently looking for a Test Specialist to join our R&D Test team. As our new Test Specialist you will support the process of bringing life to tomorrow’s solutions for the coatings industry in our brand-new laboratories in Kgs. Lyngby.
What you can look forward to in this role
As a Test Specialist you will ensure the right tests are being performed and that they are completed in a timely manner as well as communicated and documented. You will maintain and improve work processes and safety in our office, in the laboratory, as well as in workshops. We expect you to challenge and improve our way of working, within the team and the organization.
Your tasks will include:
- Coordinating with key stakeholders in sales, marketing and R&D to define testing needs
- Working closely with application team to ensure preparation of test samples
- Performance testing of curing and cured coating products
- Reporting results, dissemination and archiving
- Maintaining laboratory safety and standards
- Contributing to the teams continuous improvement process
You will be joining a dedicated team and will be based in Hempel’s headquarter in the Copenhagen area.
What does it take to become a Test Specialist?
In this role we expect you to have an education as laboratory technician, process technician or equivalent studies. Preferably you have experience working in a coating laboratory, though this is not a requirement.
You possess strong hands-on and quality-orientation in the laboratory, and have the ability to plan and organize your tasks independently. You have effective communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
