It requires a deep understanding of both material characteristics, electrochemistry and customer needs to find the optimal solution.Topsoe Battery Materials A/S, a subsidiary of Topsoe A/S, is primarily focused on producing cathode active materials for use in Li-ion cells & Na-ion cells. We are based at the Topsoe Headquarters north of Copenhagen.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an Electrochemist to strengthen our electrochemical team as we have expanded both internal test capabilities and external collaboration activities. You are likely in the beginning of your career, but we are also interested to hear from you if you have more experience. Job content and terms can be adjusted.Who We’re Looking ForYou will cover a range of tasks within development of characterization techniques, collaboration with internal subject matter experts, data analysis, lab work, training and supervision of student assistants and technicians, safety and collaboration with external partners. We will adapt the tasks based on your competences and experience.
What You’ll Bring
You have a relevant M.Sc. and ideally a PhD or corresponding experience. You have experience with electrochemistry and ideally battery electrochemistry, but extensive experience with LNMO is not a requirement. Additionally, familiarity with Python and data analysis is beneficial.What You’ll BringWe want work in Topsoe Battery Materials to be rewarding, challenging and fun and you will contribute to this in your own way.We Imagine That You HaveFamiliarity with basic lab equipment and lab work An eye for detail and a strong commitment to produce high quality results in the lab as well as in the subsequent data analysis Strong communication skills A good understanding of safety procedures and the ability to contribute to a good safety culture Analytical thinking and the ability to solve problems and make decisions based on data and analysis We often speak Danish in everyday life, but the corporate language is English. Fluency in English is a requirement and fluency or proficiency in Danish is preferred. It is an exciting time to join Topsoe Battery Materials. In 2024 we inaugurated our 200 ton per year cathode active material pilot facility as well as our brand-new pouch cell line.
