In Development ADME we are looking for an experienced laboratory technician or life science graduate with motivation for laboratory work, laboratory maintenance, data science and data analysis. We are responsible for generating ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion) and drug-drug interaction (DDI) data for the development and approval of new drugs.

About the department

In Development ADME, we are a group of 7 scientists, 3 laboratory technicians, 2 postdocs, 1 intern and 1 laboratory technician trainee; highly skilled and dedicated people working together in an open and scientifically challenging environment. As part of Global Drug Discovery, we are placed in Måløv. Our department is responsible for evaluation of drug metabolism and DDI from late-stage discovery, throughout non-clinical and clinical development towards drug registration.

The Job

As a laboratory technician or associate scientist, you will participate in the planning of experiments, data processing and interpretation of results in collaboration with scientists as well as data science initiatives, equipment maintenance and general laboratory work. The work will be according to good documentation practice (GDP) ensuring our experiments are documented and data are traceable.

Qualifications

You have an education as laboratory technician or bachelor/master within Life Sciences. A candidate with experience in mass spectrometry, HPLC, radioactivity measurement as well as working with in vitro cell systems will be preferred. Knowledge of GDP, apparatus maintenance and experience in data processing of results will be an advantage. You have an independent approach to your tasks, can work systematically, have a can-do attitude, can take responsibility for your work and can write and speak English. In addition, you are an open and flexible person with excellent cooperation skills, have a sense of humor and enjoy handling of many different tasks.
