We need you as our new Laboratory Manager Controlled Polymers A/S is a local company in Ribe, owned by Americhem. We have for more than 30 years worked with dyeing of plastic granules and fibers in all desired colors. We do not produce end products, but supply raw materials to, among others, the pharmaceutical industry, the automotive industry, and others.
We are searching for a laboratory Manager with R&D skills to a newly created position as the current responsible needs to focus more on other tasks and areas. At Controlled Polymers the key word is quality, and it is important for us that our products have the same high quality every time we produce it.
Job profile
As a Laboratory Manager you will be responsible for research and developing of our product as well as responsible for 16 colors technicians and quality controllers. You will be part of our management team.

Your profile
You are educated as chemical engineer, production engineer or similar and you have experience from a position where you have been manager for 3 - 5 employees and worked with R&D. It is important that you are quality-conscious, hard-working by nature and take ownership of your tasks. You can come up with new ideas and are happy to make suggestions for improvement. You have a good level of English and Danish in both writing and speaking as well as working with IT. It will be an advantage if you have knowledge of the plastics industry, colors, and injection molding, but it is not a requirement.

- Responsible for daily quality inspections
- Develop and optimize production methods
- In cooperation with Purchase, select and approve suppliers of new raw materials
- Be responsible for the equipment in the laboratory
- Develop products in cooperation with customers
- Participate in meeting with customers and suppliers
- Support Sales through technical inquiries and new projects
