Lab Technician

To our fast growing site in Risskov, Denmark, we are looking for several talented lab technicians (laboranter/laboratorieteknikere) who will play a key role in the preparatory HPLC purification and about the final LCMS quality analysis produced under GMP guidelines.

The new lab technicians will be part of our production department consisting of laboratory technicians and chemists. They will support the production of synthetic DNA and RNA oligonucleotides produced by chemical synthesis.

Key Responsibilities

• Part of a team that synthesizes, purifies, quantifies and performs QC checks on synthesized products.
• Analytical and preparatory HPLC purification.
• Operating HPLC equipment, using RP-HPLC and IE-HPLC techniques.
• Quantifying by spectroscopic measurement.
• LCMS quality analysis.

Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills

• An educational background as Laboratory Technician (Laborant) or a bachelor degree in Chemical and Biotechnical Technology (professionsbachelor i laboratorieteknologi).
• Preferably the candidates have some experience working in a GMP regulated environment and are familiar with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
• Fluent in written and oral Danish and English is essential.

LGC Biosearch Technologies in Risskov is producing custom-made synthetic DNA and RNA oligonucleotides to support our customers within life science such as the pharmaceutical industry, research institutions and hospitals. LGC Biosearch Technologies is certified according to the ISO 9001-2015 and ISO 13485-2016 standards and established a GMP production line in 2016.

At the Risskov site we are currently 35 employees, but we are in the process of expanding our production capacity. In this connection we will this summer move to a larger site in Lystrup. We have a pleasant working environment, pension scheme, staff lunch and several staff events during the year.
