We are growing, and we are currently looking for an experienced LAB MANAGER to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in Rødbyhavn.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implements, leads and supervises the organisation required for the Concrete Laboratory.
• Responsible for performing the needed test stipulated in the Owner requirements.
• Maintain a Quality system fulfilling the requirements in ISO/IEC EN 17025
• Coordinate with External Laboratory for the accredited testing stipulated in the Owner requirements.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that the Quality control is deployed within the laboratory organisation.
• Organises the internal and external quality control within the Laboratory.
• Document by testing that the production is achieved with the level of quality expected
• Responsible for the coordination and evaluation of the laboratory staff team
• Responsible for operations coordination and reporting when required
• Responsibilities include; training; planning/assigning/directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems
• Risk management – ability to identify, manage and mitigate risks
• Work cooperatively with all employees in other offices.
• Attend required employee and division meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• A minimum of 8+ years of professional experience is preferred
• Solid structural understanding particularly within design of concrete structures
• Knowledge of concrete and aggregate testing with respect to current standards
• Previous supervisory experience
• Must understand the basics of concrete and aggregate production
• Well-versed in Microsoft Office basics (i.e. Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Strong math, analytical, and attention to details skills
• Must be able to work cooperatively with others
• Excellent oral communication and technical writing skill in Danish and English
