Laboratory Technician

Ferrodan in Skjern is looking for an independent and solution-oriented laboratory technician.

The company

Ferrodan is a modern iron foundry founded in 1991. The purpose was to ensure our partner a very high and consistent quality of cast products.

The foundry is characterized by high flexibility, which i.a. allows for fast model change for the individual series. This enables the production of both large and small series.

The position

The position as a laboratory technician is a key function in the company, with reference to IPL Group's Head of Quality, HSE & CSR.

We are busy at Ferrodan, so we are looking for a committed laboratory technician who wants to be part of our strong team. In addition to our future new colleague, the department consists of skilled employees with different backgrounds. We are passionate and motivated in our work and together we are responsible for ensuring that the ordered analyzes are carried out on time and in accordance with our quality requirements. Therefore, great appreciation is placed on cooperation and the ability to prioritize tasks, so that together we achieve this goal.

The most important areas of responsibility will be:

• Tensile testing
• Manufacture of abrasives and microscopy.
• Preparation of test certificates.
• Performing sand tests.
• Import of chemical analysis in 1factory.
• Optimization and digitization in the laboratory.

In addition, you can expect that in the long run you will be involved in waste management and preparation of chemical APV on Ferrodan.

Candidates

You would like to have a professional background from the metal industry, supplemented by a superstructure such as an industrial laboratory or similar.
