Laboratory Assistant - Concrete & Earthworks

SBJV I/S IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED LABORATORY ASSISTANT TO ASSIST THE LABORATORY MANAGER ON THE NEW STORSTRØMS BRIDGE PROJECT

The Project

Located in Vordingborg, Denmark, the new bridge will accommodate a two-lane road, a double-track railway for high-speed trains, and a shared use route for pedestrians and cyclists. Once complete, the new Storstrøm Bridge will be the third longest bridge in Denmark.

Job Description

You will work alongside the Laboratory Manager in the execution of laboratory tests on Concrete and Earthworks. The aim is to create effective, verified and safe reporting of laboratory tests.

You will be assisting the Laboratory Manager in the planning of lab activities and will help managing the lab technician.

What we are looking for:

• Someone with experience in concrete and earthworks testing, as per Danish standards;
• Someone versed in laboratory quality procedures;
• Someone with experience in concrete and earthworks lab activities and reporting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with concrete and earthworks.
• Relevant Diploma or University Degree.
• Knowledge and experience in construction processes
• Problem solving attitude, being proactive and flexible
• Fluent in Danish and English (Italian is a plus)
