About the Department

You will be employed by IM1 Business Support, which supports 2 production lines, where we produce existing products and produce products for clinical development in the area of diabetes. The department consists of 60 colleagues, of which your team consists of - Quality, Archive and LEAN - You will therefore have to collaborate with 3 quality coordinators, 4 archiving people and 2 LEAN experts like yourself.

The Position

We can offer an exciting position with a wide variety of tasks and many different stakeholders.

We have a current state VSM for the entire factory and one of the bigger tasks from here is defining initiatives that need to be taken to succeed with the future state and thereby succeed in delivering API to the market. The LEAN organization must facilitate a structured process across the factory. You will need to work closely with managers and employees at all levels to map the value stream and ensure that we have an updated picture of how the factory delivers.

In addition, there will be assignments such as teaching as part of the LEAN programs as well as coaching of employees during education. There will be complicated cases in production where you help facilitate problem solving or optimization processes, for example.

You will succeed in your job through your ability to collaborate with many stakeholders where you, with your understanding of the 5 LEAN principles and your ability to observe and see opportunities, ensure concrete and challenging input to the way we work.

Your ability to collaborate is also seen in the LEAN group because the team's success is the foundation of your own success. You actively contribute with observations and reflections to ensure a curious and learning community. The group will have the opportunity to run larger LEAN tasks and projects that support the strategy for the factory.

The tasks will primarily be on shop floor where you meet your stakeholders to understand the everyday life they are a part of and to help them further from there. At the desk, you will have the opportunity to pick up the many concurrent tasks.

Qualifications

You are well experienced in LEAN and +3 years of relevant experience, preferably from pharma or another regulated industry. We expect your LEAN competencies to be wide ranging in terms of visual management, problem solving, kaizen and process confirmations. It is an advantage if you already know about working with LEAN in a production company.

You are curious and able to see opportunities rather than limitations; especially you can think theory and practical solutions together in logical processes. Independence is a prerequisite, but you must also be able to collaborate with various professional groups and build strong relationships across geographical, professional and cultural boundaries.

Due to your solid experience within LEAN, you will be more expertly founded than many of your business partners. Therefore, it will be essential to be able to find the right balance between being instructive and coaching to create a learning organization, while also ensuring that we deliver.
