The Position

We expect you:
- To have a recognized teaching qualification (graduate or postgraduate level)
- To have proven experience of both collaborative planning and teaching
- Ideally three years’ of proven teaching success with children ages 7-11
- Knowledge of and a commitment to inquiry-based learning is a strong asset
- Strong communication skills in English; the ability to also teach in Danish is an advantage
- The ability to plan, deliver and evaluate lessons that stimulate and motivate students to learn
- Possesses an understanding of how to create and sustain classroom routines and procedures
- Possesses an understanding of and sensitivity to cultural variance; a work experience in an international environment is a strong asset
- to be visionary, inventive and possess good relationship skills – in relation to students, parents and colleagues
- to be flexible and adaptable
- to emphasize holistic work around the students in collaboration with parents, colleagues, and other collaborators
- are appreciative in your communication, have a positive approach to your work, and are passionate about working socially and academically with our students
- to have knowledge of and courage for an inclusive pedagogy and can differentiate teaching
