IGCSE Cambridge coordinator and teacher at 10th grade level to start either as soon as
possible or by appointment at Sportsboarding School SINE
Imagine an occupation where your enthusiasm for teaching (and possible sports) provides the job content you are looking for.
Imagine becoming a part of the SINE school culture, where you as an individual develop with the help of your colleagues and
where ambition, unity, teamwork, and propriety are the fundamental values.
SINE is looking for a committed Cambridge coordinator and/or teacher to start as soon as possible, or latest by the 1st of August.
As a teacher you will be teaching English at 10th grade Cambridge IGCSE level and the 10th grade Danish syllabus. In addition,
you must be able to offer different IGCSE subjects. Examples could be, Food & Nutrition, Global Perspective, Economics,
Combined Science or Mathematics.
As coordinator you will be co-responsible for the future planning and development of the Cambridge Class. This includes:
- Responsibility for the annual schedule of the Cambridge Class. Including schedule adjustments, subject days for future pupils,
the exam schedules, special theme days and weeks etc.
- Convening meetings and performing follow-ups.
- Assisting during exams - Responsibility for the internal and external communication and information with teachers, parents,
pupils and future pupils.
- Being the contact between SINE and the Cambridge office in Denmark as well as maintaining good cooperation.
- Main responsibility for an educational journey which is currently a trip to Ireland.
In addition to the scheduled academic teaching, there will be evening and weekend boarding school duties, regular boarding
school activities and tasks related to you being a contact teacher. This means being the primary contact link between a
designated number of pupils and their parents, as well as you being the person to help and assist these students with their daily
struggles and issues.
The position is ideally a full-time job, but it is possible to discuss a part time option.
SINE differs from other boarding schools by having the pupils select a sport to be their main subject. Seven different sports
subjects are offered and throughout the years SINE has had many applications from young people all over the Denmark who just
love sports. The pupils train 4-5 times a week in their chosen sport. Visit the following website to learn more about us -
