We are seeking Ukrainian-speaking teacher(s) Can you teach in the Ukranian language?
Do you want to help create and maintain a vibrant learning environment for Ukrainian children and young people, which they can participate in when they have time off from the Danish school?
Do you want to teach them - both offline and online - and help build a social learning network, where at the same time contact is made across municipal boundaries?
Then you should apply for the job with us.
Your primary physical base will be in our premises in Ukrainehuset in Værløse, Furesø. Here you will teach the children who attend physically, as well as those who participate online. Our online location is local, regional, national and global, which is why you can expect to meet children and young people located in different parts of the country.
Users can participate offline and show up physically for the classes, just as they can participate online. You must therefore want to complete the teaching as hybrid teaching from the room in Værløse.

• Ukrainian
◦ Maintain mother tongue
• Ukrainian history and cultural studies
◦ Maintain knowledge of the national curriculum, which they do not encounter in Danish schools
At the same time, you have the desire and time for your working hours to increase with the number of enrolled students. And you want to create the framework that allows us to attract more municipalities that register the Ukrainian children and young people who live in their municipality.
The job overall
• Physical premises located in Værløse, Furesø municipality
◦ As well as online teaching from the room for students who cannot attend physically
• Time limited
◦ The position is limited in time and will run for as long as needed.
• Paid by the hour
◦ Your working time increases with the number of students
• Working hours
◦ Expected 4-10 hours per week with increasing hours
◦ Primarily afternoons/early evenings and possibly weekend
◦ Time: Tuesdays 16.30-18.00 and Thursdays 16.30-18.00
• Language requirements
◦ Ukrainian (requirement)
◦ English (requirement)
◦ Danish (a plus, but not a requirement)
• Other expectations: You must have experience in teaching, knowledge of the Ukrainian language, as well as a general overview of the Ukrainian curriculum, so that you can contribute to your students maintaining basic knowledge from their own national curriculum.
