We are in the early stages of establishing a new presence in Taulov and looking for a Site Manager to join the team.

The Role:

The Site Manager is responsible for the overall management of the warehouse, including the planning, execution, and coordination of all warehouse activities. You’ll have approximately 100-150 people onsite and ensure the warehouse complies with all applicable safety, security, and environmental regulations. You’ll also be comfortable working with financials and understanding budgeting/Profit & Loss and how to cost control a site. Ideally you will bring with you experience around setting up new customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

HSE, Security & Business Resilience:

  • Comply with laws, customer requirements, and HSSE & BR frameworks.
  • Implement and maintain controls to reduce risks.
  • Report and investigate incidents and near misses.
  • Maintain an Emergency Response Plan and necessary equipment.
  • Provide training for employees with proper records.
  • Ensure audit and review processes for HSSE.

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead location operations, including subcontractors/vendors.
  • Ensure compliance and regulatory adherence.
  • Define site IT standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement and asset optimization.
  • Monitor productivity and customer satisfaction.

People:

  • Create a positive work environment and engagement plan.
  • Coach, guide, and develop colleagues with comprehensive training.
  • Promote recognition, inclusion, and diversity.
  • Implement employee relations policies and standards.
  • Lead Employee Forum/Workers Council meetings.

Profit & Loss:

  • Manage site's P&L for all products and clients.
  • Handle new and existing customer management and contracts.
  • Monitor site performance and establish continuous improvement.

Product:

  • Develop new customers and implement new customer initiatives.
  • Set and achieve growth targets as per leadership guidance.
  • Develop and execute the site business plan.

Customer Relations:

  • Build strong relationships with customer leaders.
  • Collaborate with operations and account teams for delivery.
  • Oversee contract management and governance adherence.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Minimum of 5 years previous experience in warehouse/ site management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Financials experience and knowledge
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
