We have a highly interesting and promising pipeline, meaning we now have to build a new setup for packaging and assembly of biopharm products. And that is where you enter the scene in a key role of shaping the future for LEO’s way of working within your area for many years going forward.
Primary responsible from overall strategy to day-to-day execution
You will become Global Scientific Process Owner of either packaging or assembly processes related to biopharm products – in an overall setup based on outsourcing to CMOs globally. In the assembly role syringe strategies is a vital part of the focus and you must provide expertise that will strengthen the LEO organisation. In both roles you will especially focus on the scientific part of the processes. Your primary tasks will be:
Packaging OR assembly & syringe strategies for biopharm products New setup for packaging or assembly based on outsourcing to CMOs worldwide Managing projects, e.g. starting up in a new land/market Packaging or assembly activities in our global packaging cluster Life Cycle Management activities within your area of expertise Ensure validated and RA approved processes across all your activities
You can look forward to 30-40 travelling days per year to meet partners and colleagues worldwide, e.g. our site in France and CMOs in Japan and the US. In many situations you will team up with your packaging/assembly colleague in order to ensure the right holistic approach covering both of your areas of expertise – on travels and when unfolding your skills at the LEO HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen.
10+ years’ experience from working with packaging OR assembly of biopharm products
We are looking for senior profiles with the knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit it takes to build something new. As such, you must thrive in a role as the guiding light in an organisation where great ideas leading to efficient changes are part of the DNA. This calls for your good communication skills including your ability to clearly explain “Why, What, How, Who and When“ with due respect to professional and cultural differences. Additionally, you have the diplomatic understanding of when to stand your ground and when to seek the noble compromise. Additionally, your CV comprises:
A Master’s degree in engineering, science or related 10+ years’ experience from working with packaging or assembly of biopharm products Business acumen including strategic understanding and experience Good English skills, written and spoken Knowledge of new methods and (technological) opportunities within your area of expertise
Global Manufacturing Science and Technology – your new department
You will join approx. 35 Specialists and Technicians in Global Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT DK) at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. We are approx. 65 in the Global MSAT organisation with expectedly more to come. Our focus is the scientific part of our manufacturing setup.
