The job
We are seeking an Associate Manager (AM) to join our Manufacturing Management team. In this role, the AM will report to the Senior Manager of Basic Production and be responsible for two teams. One team is the Packaging Team which is responsible for manual packaging of all our different sponge products. The other team is the warehouse team which is responsible for handling all internal and external goods and services; a total of approximately 15 reports. The AM will act as the team’s representative towards the business and interact and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders. The AM coordinate and prioritize production tasks with a focus on driving process-, production- and warehouse improvements. Working hours are Monday to Friday during normal business hours, but with flexibility if needed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure well-being, engagement, and performance in the team through visible leadership, involvement, sparring and feedback.
2. Ensure a positive physical and mental working environment in collaboration with the leadership team and the working environment representative.
3. Effective utilization, prioritization of resources and machines in collaboration with the other production managers.
4. Follow the performance of area of responsibility and ensure rapid rectification of stops and challenges in cooperation with the technical department and other partners.
5. Daily prioritization, follow-up, and implementation of improvement measures.
6. Ensure a constantly high level of quality.
7. Drive systematic problem solving and standardization work.
8. Adherence with KPIs and production plan for Pack & Warehouse in collaboration with other production managers.
9. Carrying out 1:1 interview as well as absenteeism and employee development interviews.
10. Work in the production process alongside the operators
11. Management team collaboration: Actively participate as a member of the Manufacturing Management team, contributing insights, recommendations, and collaborative efforts toward achieving departmental and organizational goals.

Manufacturing in Ferrosan Medical Devices consist of approximately 140 people spread across key departments – Process Support, Technical Support & Facility, EHS, SFI Production and Basic Production where this position is organized. These departments work cohesively to ensure the seamless production and delivery of our cutting-edge medical devices, demonstrating a commitment to precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement adhering to Lean methodologies.
Qualifications
We are looking for a hands-on leader with a can-do attitude who can drive team performance and well-being. As a person you have a positive approach to people, and you can motivate your team to embrace changes and to see opportunities rather than limitations. You are a team player and manage to be self-motivating and proactive, just as you possess a natural power of impact and action.
To be successful in this role you should have:
• Good communicative skills and you can give constructive feedback and in-depth guidance.
• Experience in various LEAN tools and a structured approach to problem solving.
• Experience from a GMP regulated production and you thrive in a busy working day.
• Natural flair for leading people and a strong focus on achieving results in collaboration with your team.
• Experience from warehouse operations is a plus.
• Well-developed collaboration skills in Danish and English – both in writing and orally.
Your background and education are not the most important, but experience within GMP regulated production would be an advantage. You could be an experienced and ambitious junior leader/coordinator who is ready to take the next step into a leadership position. You should be a natural born leader who likes to set direction and lead people on the shop floor and take part in the daily production.
