Service Operational & Technical Resources Global Operational Support

Global Operation Support is a part of the Service organisation in Vestas. We are responsible for the sales, installation and service of wind farms throughout the globe. We strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas and we aim to make Vestas the best place to work.
For our Global Operational Support team, we are now looking to hire an assistant to handle the warehouse activities and make sure it can provide for the global assignments. You will be part of a team consisting of 50 Supervisors who are responsible for handling improvement, optimisation, commissioning, construction and prototype related tasks in many different locations in Denmark and around the world.
You will be working 5 days per week divided in two different work shifts between 06:00 and 15:20.
Responsibilities
Your main assignments in this role will be to:
You will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be focus on Occupational safety and health (OH&S) compliance. We put safety first, so this should always be a priority. We drive and follow up on initiatives. Continuously, we focus on working as lean, effective and productive as possible which leads to high delivery performance.
In this role, you should also be prepared for on-call service in some weekends during the year.

Responsibilities

- Pick, pack and dispatch as well as booking transport
- Stock takes for Spares Parts at Warehouse and track invoices as well as returns of stock
- Purchasing and order releasing to warehouse
- Non-Conformance Management
- Producing reports
- Ordering consumables, spare parts and tools for Spare Parts warehouse
- Trouble-shoot problems and recommend improvements

Qualifications
We favour that you have the following:
- Technical diploma (preferably mechanical or electrical)
- At least one year of experience from a similar position
- Good skills in English language - written and spoken
- Vocational training in Warehouse and logistics (preferred but not a must)
- Intermediate MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Fork lift certificate
- Intermediate knowledge or ERP Systems (SAP)
