The Danish company Greenpeas A/S is offering through EURES seasonal working places in the agricultural field to pea picking in Portugal.
Requirements:
- The minimum age required is 18 years old.
- Good physical condition.
- Experience in agriculture.
- Proactive people.
Available places: 120
Contract duration: March-May 2020
Working program: 40-50 hours/week, 6 days/week.
Accommodation: The accommodation is made in fully equipped and furnished houses. The accommodation price is between 100 - 120 Euro/month (all utilities included).
Transportation:
- From Romania or other countries to Portugal it is paid by the employer, the money will be recovered from the employee's salary at the end of the working season.
- From the accommodation place in Portugal to the working place is for free.
Salary: The payment of the work depends on the picked quantity. The minimum amount from which the salary starts is 700 euros gross/month, an average employee reaches the salary of 1000-1500 euros gross/month, while a very good employee reaches the salary of 1500-2000 euros gross/month. The tax and social contributions will be deducted from the salary according to the Portuguese legislation.
Medical insurance: Is covered by the employer.
We offer:
- The contract will be made at the farm, with no intermediaries and no commissions.
- You will receive assistance in writing and sending the necessary documents to the Portuguese authorities for receiving the working permit.
- Weekly transportation to the supermarkets with the company buses.
- The possibility to advance in different functions, as a supervisor, truck/bus driver, and other functions.
- The possibility to renew the contracts for the ones that would like to work also other jobs after the pea picking season.
