Directly reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you have the following main tasks:
Your profile
• Studies (BA, MA, MBA) of SCM or Logistics with master’s degree.
• 10+ years international working experiences in multi-national companies, preferably in the commodity/cement product industry.
• Strong knowledge of Logistics systems solutions and Logistics contracts.
• Besides superior knowledge of the road and railway business, also good knowledge of the global waterway shipment business in bulk and containers.
• Excellent understanding of Logistics KPIs.
• Good knowledge of multimodal solutions, terminal business and harbor activities.
• Excellent Project Management skills and Change Management skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office and SAP.
• Master command of English.
You have great stakeholder management skills and know how to develop strong relations with people across functions and with various backgrounds. This includes applying a sound business understanding, an open mindset, strong collaboration skills and the ability to adapt your communication directly to all levels of the organization.

Directly reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you have the following main tasks:
- Act as a logistics business expert and contribute to develop and execute Aalborg Portland’s logistics strategy.
- Responsible for the distribution annually of 2.5 million tonnes of cement using a multimodal logistics setup that includes terminals, vessel, road, and rail transport.
- Leading the Terminal & Harbor departments with 23 employees ensuring continuous improvement, commitment and high job satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Corporate Purchasing and Logistic department to support their procurement of logistics services and activities.
- Responsible for the logistics budget and savings and optimize the logistics network.
- Proactively contribute the re-engineering of logistic process and landscape to create value for the Company and eliminate the hidden costs.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external suppliers in Logistics area.
