Are you a skilled automation engineer, who are looking to join the front runner in intralogistics solutions? For BEUMER Group, we are looking for skilled automation engineers to join their office in Aarhus. You will be part of cross functional project teams, that work on new systems around the world. In these teams, you will be the responsible automation engineer – together with one of your automation colleagues.
We are currently looking to fill positions in two different teams, so you will have the opportunity to choose the area that sounds the most interesting to you. Both departments work on international projects, where they create state of the art solutions. Both teams work on making sure that the deliveries arrive on time to the correct location, whether it being luggage in an airport or a parcel in a complex sorting system.
You will:
• Take part in all project phases, from specifications trough PLC programming, design, testing and commissioning
• Be the automation go-to person in your designated project team
• Take responsibility and ownership of the automation solutions that you create
• be communicating with colleagues across the organization, ensuring that all stakeholders in the project are aligned
We see the right candidate as someone who is experienced within PLC/automation and want to be a key team member. You make sure that your deliveries are always on point and take pride in the work that you do.
Some of the know-how the right candidate might have:
• You have experience with Siemens S7 or TIA
• You might have some experience with Allen Bradley
• You speak and write English fluently
• If you have knowledge of communication (TCP/IP, PROFINET, PROFIBUS), safety (safety PLC’s – S7-1500F) or cyber security in OT networks, that would be a big plus
Besides your automation skills, it is essential that you thrive working in a team and communicate openly with your surroundings. You need to have a can-do attitude and find it motivating to find simple solutions for complex problems.
