About the department

Our ambition is to be in the frontier and making end to end planning of the supply chain a competitive edge for Novo Nordisk. You will join an agile project organisation consisting of 25-30 people dedicated to transforming planning. The team consists of both internal and external consultants, planning- and IT experts and scrum masters. In other words, you get the opportunity to join an international and high performing team.In close collaboration with key stakeholders across Novo Nordisk, we establish the strategies and are responsible for implementation of key initiatives to transform planning. Our scope is ranging from strategy, tactical and operational planning across purchase and production. We are setup in three tracks that are focused on different elements of the transformation journey; (1) optimise current planning for the future, (2) design and implementation of new planning processes and IT solution and (3) transformation of the organisation and communication.

The position

You will take active part in Novo Nordisk transformation journey towards the next level of Supply Chain Planning. You will work across the three tracks as a consultant responsible for structured analyses, workshop preparation, execution and documentation, presentations and various stakeholder activities. You will also be responsible for deliverables as part of the communication strategy e.g. share updates on the transformation journey with the broader organisation. The position will expose you to responsibilities that will boost your hands-on experience as a consultant.

  • Internship period: 5-6 months
  • Working hours: Full time preferably
  • Start date: August 2020
  • Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full time work permit is required


Qualifications
You are currently studying a master’s degree in e.g. Business, Finance, Engineering, Communication or similar and you are among top of your class. You are an Excel and PowerPoint super-user. You work in a structured way, have a sharp eye for details and are excellent in building an argument and storyline in presentations. You can handle many tasks simultaneously, have a strong focus on quality and want to deliver results. As a person, you are outgoing with a strong personal drive and dedication. Your strong interpersonal skills help you build relationships and you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work even when the pressure is on. You have a genuine interest in understanding other’s perspective and as such interact with stakeholders in an open and respectful way, but you are not afraid to challenge status quo.As we are a global company and an international team therefore fluency in both spoken and written English is required.
