We are looking for a shipping assistant to get our pipes where they belong. Is that you?
At National Oilwell Varco Denmark I/S (Flexibles), we design, manufacture and sell the world’s most advanced flexible pipe solutions for the global offshore oil and gas industry. This requires that the finished products are shipped according to specific and individual requirements as laid out in the contract with the customer.
Furthermore, the manufacturing process entails on-the-spot transport of everything from samples to documentation between our head office, our factory and the customer’s facilities. To help make this run smoothly, we’re looking for a safety-conscious, effective and service-minded shipping assistant.
You will be based in Brøndby near Copenhagen with an option to work at our factory in Kalundborg on a case by case basis. There, you will see to a wide range of duties, including:

Beyond customer-focus and a strong sense of teamwork, you are a logistics expert who’s capable of monitoring and managing pickup and drop-off schedules, developing freight estimates and executing logistics plans for domestic and international transport. And you can do so with a focus on cost, quality and precision. To do so, we expect that you:

- Documentation – including visual department aids and shipping logs, data and customs reports
- Communication – including arranging with carrier representatives and handling of customer queries
- Compliance – including company policies, contract specifications and national and international laws and standards
Qualifications
Beyond customer-focus and a strong sense of teamwork, you are a logistics expert who’s capable of monitoring and managing pickup and drop-off schedules, developing freight estimates and executing logistics plans for domestic and international transport. And you can do so with a focus on cost, quality and precision. To do so, we expect that you:
- Are methodical and careful in your work
- Have solid experience with international shipping and are willing to learn on the job
- Are proactive and capable of working with tight deadlines
- Have strong PC skills
