For KK Wind Solutions A/S we are looking for an experienced professional who will ensure the best and most competitive Global Supply Chain in the wind industry to fulfill todays and future demands. This role embeds both strategic, tactical and operational tasks that support the existing business while also securing foundation for strong new product introduction.
Job description:
As VP Global SCM you are member of the Global Operations Senior Leadership Team and you will therefore provide an active role in developing the strategy for Global Operations. You will be overall responsible for securing that we are working according to agreed principles, methods and applying the tools associated herewith and deliver the jointly agreed business results for Global Operations based on holistic view and the benefit for the company as a whole. Finally, you will proactively be reaching out, aligning and supporting peers in Global Operations as a support function.
As VP, Global SCM your scope is broad and vital for the entire company´s performance. Together with other senior managers the VP will contribute in developing strategy for the entire company. The new VP for the area will be overall responsible for the strategy development and implementation in the SCM areas and through this be responsible for continuous development of people, systems and processes.

Professional competencies:
The VP of Global SCM must have a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a SCM leadership role, at least five years of experience within running and developing a Supply Chain and Manufacturing concepts and strategies. It is helpful for candidates to have at least five years of experience in a global senior leadership role working with executive management in a global organization. The VP of Global SCM must have a high drive and ability to convert strategy into action.
The relevant candidate holds as a minimum a bachelor’s degree within supply chain and a business degree (e.g. MBA) combined with a technical background is welcomed (production of Electrical Power Systems, Energy Systems or similar).
Personal competencies:
In order to be successful in this role, you must possess strong leadership skills and have a proactive mindset and be very strong at communication. Your energy level is high and you have a high personal drive. Communication is central and key to success in this role, i.e. you must be able to create holistic and easy understandable presentations.
Your place of work will be in Ikast, but as you are responsible for a global organization, you are expected to travel 50-80 days per year primarily to Poland and India.

The key areas of responsibilities for Global SCM :
- Securing a strong cooperation with the manufacturing plants and Global Operations support functions plus key stake holders in the Strategic Customer Units and Finance as responsible for the Sales & Operating Planning (S&OP) as well as Global Customer Service & Distribution Center
- Ensure Global Supply Chain performance with harmonized way of working across manufacturing plants
- Develop strategy and set direction for the Global Supply Chain to adapt to customer needs and needs from the global manufacturing plants
- Develop and manage the Global Supply Chain business cases and budgets in coordination with the financial controllers
- Ensure a proactive and innovative approach within supply chain services to the global manufacturing plants promoting the use of a strong digitalization platform
- Develop and be a driver on the Global Operational Excellence activities hereunder Supply Chain architecture
Key tasks & priorities:

- Strategy development and strategy implementation in the Global Supply Chain
- Manage the Global Supply Chain in accordance with business targets, i.e. meeting the agreed KPI´s
- Ensure a strong support to Global Manufacturing so that efficiency improvement can be achieved yearly
- Global Supply Chain Excellence with harmonized way of working across manufacturing sites
- Ensure world class efficiency and performance compared to industry peers
- Be a role model for the entire staff
- Ability to motivate all employees with different background and culture in a global context
