To support our continuous growth, we are in search for our new Logistics Manager to be responsible for our in- and outbound logistics.

About the team

As Logistics Manager you have the responsibility of four Logistic Coordinators and Warehouse Manager in direct reference including the Warehouse department.

The position covers international transport, warehousing, packing solutions.

You will be part of the Supply Chain function, reporting directly to the Head of Supply Chain Manager and becoming part of the SC-management team.

About the job

In cooperation with our Head of Supply Chain Manager you are responsible for implementing and ensuring the overall strategy for your areas.

You will have a central role in developing and building the right setup to improve the complete material flow using Lean and best practice principles.

Heading up the teams you set the direction, demonstrate inclusive leadership, motivate your team members, and ensure the collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.

Your responsibilities and tasks:

· People leadership and development, including health and safety.

· Ensure timely delivery, cost within budget and adequate quality by focusing on a close execution engagement / management.

· Implement visual management/KPI and reporting on progress, workload, financial etc.

· Optimize logistics processes, forms and improve use of ERP system.

· Provide suitable logistical solutions amplifying the customer experience through ´fit for purpose´ packing and transportation solutions.

· Keeping a credible stock value/quantities making sure agreed inventory checks are carried out as agreed.

· Optimization of inventory value in cooperation with Procurement.

· All areas related to Logistics are kept in an orderly manner.

· Managing 3PL network.

About you

You already have experience as a manager within logistics. You thrive taking Initiative and have a personal motivation for improving processes. You are open-minded and good at cooperating cross-functionally. And as a people manager you are emphatic and take a genuine interest in people.

Furthermore we imagine that you have the following professional qualifications:

· Education within Logistics or similar(e.g. BSc, HD, Merkonom or similar)

· Are fluent in Danish and English - both spoken and written.

· Are proficient in IT, Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
