Georg Jensen A/S is looking for a service-minded and outgoing Global Logistics Coordinator to join our Global Supply Chain team in our HQ in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. You will be a part of a Global Supply Chain team with focus on structure, entrepreneurship and with rich opportunity for professional development.
The role
One of your main tasks will be to drive and optimize our logistics and warehouse End-2-End footprint (ranging from global suppliers, our production- and warehouse facilities, to the end customers), in order to support our company’s overall strategic goals. You will play a key role in managing the daily logistics operations, identifying opportunities and optimizing our global transport footprint on inbound freight and outbound distribution channels.
The potential for the role is great, and you will work with full attention and back up from the Supply Chain management team.

The ideal candidate is robust and curious to take on complex challenges. You have a high energy level with a can-do attitude and are result oriented. The candidate has 5+ years of experience from a similar position, preferable from the same industry or the freight forwarding/shipping industry. It will be an advantage if you have a university degree, or a bachelor’s degree in SCM.

Your key responsibilities:
- Running the daily logistical operations (incl. air, ocean, road, courier and 3PL warehouse operations)
- 3PL Warehouse (Asia) order processing and driving periodical stocktaking management
- Cater to internal organizational logistical needs (i.e. marketing projects, trade shows, etc.)
- Responsible for monthly follow up on supplier transport cost in cooperation with GJ finance dept.
- Leading cost optimization projects with logistical suppliers globally (Air/Sea/Road/3PL)
- Drive complex freight analyses and utilize these to identify opportunities and improvements end-to-end from a cost perspective in our global supply chain
- Monitor supplier performance and report KPI’s to senior management
- Claim- and Carnet handling
- Implement distribution-, logistical processes and standards optimizations
- Keep a high level of information to stakeholders internally and externally
Your profile

- Professional proficiency in English and Danish, both spoken and written
- Experience with ERP systems is required – specific skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 skills is an advantage
- Exceptional strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Structured, proactive and a high attention to detail
- Ambitious, self-driven and service oriented
- Thrive at taking charge and keeping a solid structure of your work tasks.
