At our HQ in Hedehusene, you will become part of Group Technology, counting more than 170 skilled colleagues delivering the production equipment used by our factories globally. Within Group Technology, you will join our GT Cold End Systems and Internal Logistics team of approx. 30 engineers.
Together, we design and implement the ROCKWOOL Group production facilities – which currently counts approx. 30 factories worldwide. Much of our equipment and many of our solutions are patented, which means we hold the know-how and competences in-house. This is only made possible by having a dedicated and skilled engineering function, which you will be a part of.

You will head up a group of 10+ specialists whose areas of expertise range from mechanics and electronics to software and processes. As the section manager, you will be in charge of managing, motivating and developing your team. Thus, a good part of your work will involve managing people and planning resources for projects.
More specifically, your key tasks will be to:
• Set goals for your team and follow up on employee performance, providing feedback on regular 1:1 meetings and periodic review meetings
• Make sure training and development options are available
• Handle resource planning to ensure that project intake corresponds to available resources
• Delegate tasks and set the team – this includes hiring and selecting employees
• Manage stakeholders such as customers, suppliers and other departments
• Participate in steering group meetings
In this position, it is important that you are ambitious on behalf of your team and not afraid to bring your own ideas to the table while also driving the development of our existing standards. We are looking for a motivational and easy-going leader who can facilitate great teamwork for the team to deliver successfully in a project organisation.
Moreover, we imagine that you:
• Have solid experience working with engineering projects
• Know how to communicate expectations, priorities and strategic directions
• Are a structured individual who can stick to and finalise a plan
• Have a profound technical understanding
• Have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English
