Join our growing Road Network team
You will be joining our busy Road Network team, which is still being shaped and is continuously growing. We are currently 6 team members, responsible for DSV’s European network, including the optimisation of performance as well as utilisation of our terminals and distribution network. Our current focus is on an extensive transformation of the existing network in order to optimise efficiency and logistics.
Overall, we are very proud of our strong cooperation – internally in the team, but also across DSV as well as with our many touch points across Europe. We are based in Hedehusene, Denmark, but with some colleagues placed across Europe.
Develop and standardise across distribution network agreements
As our new senior logistics engineer, you will become the touch point between our internal and external distribution groupage network. Here, you will be tasked with developing, optimising and standardising the network on an operational basis, ensuring that our internal and external network function as one unit.
Later, you will be looking into routing optimisation, helping us to recognise further ways to create more efficient routes and shorter delivery times.

- Assisting the groupage network with performance enhancement
- Handling change management tasks related to our groupage network
- Cooperating internally with our members of the cross-border linehaul group and local groupage network owners
- Travelling 30-50 days a year

Solid distribution and groupage network experience
As a person, you thrive with being part of something new where you can truly make your mark on things. You have the ability to work well both in teams and independently, and you gain energy from having a big, European network as a part of your workday.
Furthermore, we imagine that you:
- Have solid experience from the distribution and transportation industry
- Have experience with designing groupage network and routing structures
- Perhaps have a background within network engineering or logistics engineering
- Excel in English, both written and verbally – if you also have Danish skills, it is a benefit, though not a requirement
- Are able to travel to our terminals across Europe
