The department

The Production Support department entails many different areas of expertise needed to run the production of pharmaceuticals, e.g. IT/Automation, Project Management Office, Metrology, Facility and Utility. The Utility-team consists of 14 employees covering Black Utilities, Clean Utilities, HVAC and BMS/FMS with the full responsibility of all the equipment and the operation of it in the aseptic production.

Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) represents a global part of the Novo Nordisk organisation, employing approximately 6,200 employees in Denmark, China, Brazil, France and USA.

The position

As the newest member of the Utility-team, you will be learning a lot from the more experienced supporters and skilled workers in the team. You will primarily be working with HVAC and BMS/FMS, but also be in contact with Clean Utilities. In this role, you will be driving the handling of issues and events independently, while maintaining a close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to continue a flawless and stabile production.

Together with the rest of the team, you will be responsible for keeping the utilities running to ensure proper production of pharmaceuticals. Your primary tasks will be to perform systematic data analysis of our production and utility equipment, in order to notice trends, handle deviations, troubleshoot and problem solve, while ensuring continuous process improvements and a stabile operation.

  • Working hours: Full-time position
  • Start date: between 1st of September 2020 and 1st of October 2020

Qualifications
We are looking for a new supporter, who is curious about these processes and who is passionate about continuous improvements in a production context. You are analytical, structured and comfortable managing your own time and deliverables. Data analysis and machine learning are a desirable.

Besides this, personality is the key word. You are positive, independent, energetic and flexible. You see solutions instead of problems and you take initiative to implement these solutions. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to make a true difference. In addition, you are ambitious and like to be challenged.

  • Having a curious, open and humble mind-set is a benefit since communication will be an important part of the work.

  • You hold a master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, data science or production), Chemistry, Pharmacy or any other relevant degree.
  • Experience within GxP, pharmaceutical production, HVAC or BMS/FMS is an advantage but not a requirement.
