Would you like to learn everything there is to know about global procurement, supplier management and the medical device industry – and help shape our future global procurement strategy?
As our new procurement graduate, you’ll spend the next three years exploring your own talents while making a true business impact. This will provide you with a solid holistic business perspective enabling your future career opportunities in Coloplast.
Your career starts here
The Coloplast Global Graduate Programme is a three-year full-time programme. A talent programme for top students with a potential and drive for leadership.
The programme alternates between 18 months at our HQ in Denmark and 18 months in a global subsidiary. During this time, we guarantee that you’ll get to dive into your field of interest, take on key responsibilities and see the results of your work.
And after completing the Global Graduate Programme, you can look forward to continuing your journey with us on a permanent contract.
Welcome to Direct Corporate Procurement
Starting no later than September 2020, you’ll spend the first half of the programme in Coloplast’s Corporate Procurement function. Our function is comprised of 45 colleagues worldwide with 22 of them located in our HQ in Humlebæk.
You will work particularly closely with the department dedicated to direct procurement. Together with the team, your mission will be to secure the right materials needed from our suppliers – from textiles and plastics to injection moulding components and anything in between.
After completing the first half of the programme, you’ll embark on an adventure at one of our global procurement offices in Budapest in Hungary, Zhuhai in China, San José in Costa Rica or Minneapolis in the US. With your skills and interests in mind, we will find the perfect role and location for you to complete your graduate programme in.
Immerse yourself in the world of projects and strategy
Joining the direct procurement team on equal terms with your colleagues, you will take on supplier risk management projects aimed at optimising procurement and future materials supplies. You will do so through gathering and analysing insights and translating them into recommendations for actions. It will then be up to you to engage the organisation and our suppliers to make changes through inspiring presentations, workshops and other communication initiatives.
”With these projects, you can get a close look into the world of both procurement and strategy and even help shape it through your ideas and recommendations. The opportunity to make real changes in procurement is there – you just have to grab it,” says Trine Kruse Hansen, Director of Direct Corporate Procurement, who is looking forward to welcoming you to the team.
Ambitious procurement talent with interest in optimisations and strategy
You have the drive to seek knowledge that gives you an understanding of an organisation, its challenges and its possibilities. You can’t help but explore and find new solutions, and you hope to make great changes on your path. You also have great interpersonal skills and enjoy succeeding and sharing knowledge with others.
Moreover, you:
