Become a part of Corporate Procurement
At Coloplast, you will join 27 experienced and engaged colleagues in Corporate Procurement at our HQ in Humlebæk, Denmark. Here, you will be a part of a smaller team within Direct Procurement consisting of 7 skilled category managers. As a valued partner to the business, your new team is primarily responsible for securing and developing an optimal supplier portfolio for Coloplast global production.
Take responsibility for strategic supplier relationships
As the Senior Category Manager, your primary focus will be to take lead on Coloplast injection moulding category and to develop on commercial and strategic initiatives around the category. You will work closely with a team of category managers having injection moulding supplier responsibility. In doing so, you collaborate closely with procurement colleagues, internal stakeholders and of course external suppliers.
As you will be working within a complex environment, you are able to work constructively with a wide array of stakeholders on multiple levels, be open to expert input from other departments, while maintaining a strategic big picture view. Moreover, you think both innovatively and strategically, and you are able to take the lead on initiatives. With your result-driven approach, you like to challenge status quo using your curiosity and excitement. In addition, you will become an integrated part of our increasing focus on supplier relationship management, market intelligence and risk management. More specifically, you will:
This role will include up to 25 travel days per year.

- Collect and translate business requirements and supply market intelligence into solid and proactive supplier and category strategies and execute on these together with respective category managers and relevant stakeholders
- Take responsibility for strategic supplier relationship management and contract management for selected suppliers within your area, balancing total cost, quality and delivery
- Lead or participate in global cross-functional sourcing projects, supplier market analyses, ad hoc projects, and early supplier involvement initiatives in R&D and operations
- Support the evaluation of the current supplier risk management and implement appropriate improvements.
This role will include up to 25 travel days per year.
Senior category manager with a flair for taking the lead and strong stakeholder management
- You have solid category management experience with large strategic sourcing categories
- You have experience with injection moulding and related tool makers
- You have experience with project and stakeholder management as well as supplier market intelligence and risk management
- You hold a relevant master’s degree in e.g. supply chain management, engineering or chemical engineering
- You are structured and can understand, challenge and communicate the numbers
- You have strong communication skills in English and solid negotiation skills.
