With significant personal responsibility, you will be functionally reporting to the Global head of Landside Transportation and interact with multiple stakeholders within Maersk, primarily across the various teams in Contract Logistics, Platform Product Owner, Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience and other Product Managers etc.

As our Middle Mile Product Head, you will drive global growth strategy and set the direction. This is done by identifying and prioritizing customer needs, developing, and managing products across their lifecycle to the end of delivering the business case and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also drive standardization and modernization of Middle Mile product family.

You will also lead a team of highly skilled Product Managers and encourage their development, while delivering with speed and agility through them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and coaching a team members

  • Defining Middle Mile B2B Growth Strategy and P&L of Middle Mile Product

  • Delivering to customers the value proposition and to Maersk the benefits (financial, efficiency, volume) described in product's PR/FAQ.

  • Defining product go-to market & pricing strategy, financial forecast, and sales channel strategy

  • Accountable for the E2E lifecycle of the production

  • Developing the product roadmap and business requirements which serve as input for platform and processes for internal products

  • Enabling integrated solutions, defining cross product requirements and delivering seamlessness customer experience when owning an E2E solution

  • Implementing Product Catalogue

  • Driving TMS definition and implementation

  • Ensuring product, process and value proposition are aligned with a global stand


We are looking for

An ideal candidate should have below qualifications

  • Ability to identify customer pain points using qualitative and quantitative data

  • Combines outstanding customer-oriented business acumen with effective technical knowledge, leverages agile method elements in approach and practices

  • Ability to drive change management in operations, sales and IT to deliver product value proposition and go to market strategy

  • Ability to lead and motivate team members

  • Strong financial acumen, anticipates future product performance delivery and factors it into strategy decisions

  • Strong communication skills to support new product ideas to senior and executive leadership

  • Strong go-to-market experience

  • Extreme focus on driving continuous improvements post launch

  • Ability to balance short term and long term business objectives
