WE ARE LOOKING FOR A RETAIL LOGISTICS SPECIALIST TO OVERSEE OUR RETAIL LOGISTICS OPERATIONS IN CHINA AS PART OF THE GANNI EXPANSION IN ASIA.

As our new Retail Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for our retail logistics operation in China. This involves being the main point of contact for our stores and main link to our 3PL partner and a key stakeholder for internal departments such as Logistics, Finance, and the Commercial teams.

The role is a newly created position and an important addition in our efforts to expand the GANNI business in Asia. GANNI will be opening its first owned and operated retail stores in China during 2022, and this position will be key in ensuring all logistics matters for these stores. You will be closely involved in setting the future direction of the China logistics setup and implementing processes to ensure the operation runs smoothly. You will work closely together with our 3PL partner and our China Logistics Specialist, who is responsible for the TMALL and wholesale business in China. Initially the setup will be quite manual with order uploads and inventory adjustments, as we are keen to get the stores up and running soon. But we need the right person to ensure we quickly upgrade our processes to be integrated to support the continued growth in the store network.

YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU

  • Point of contact for all retail logistics related matters both internally and external related to our China business
  • Supporting Wholesale and TMALL operations
  • Responsible for launch retro planning for China/Asia market
  • Responsible for shipping on time launch orders to retail stores
  • Responsible for uploading orders in our order management system
  • Responsible for adjusting inventory in our ERP Navision and monitoring inventory in our partners OMS.
  • Taking lead in securing the right processes going forward, to support the growing retail business in China/Asia
  • Work with suppliers to closely and efficiently resolve any logistics issues
  • Support and model excellent service by exhibiting a positive attitude and enthusiasm in all forms of communication.
  • Actively participate in weekly internal meetings providing necessary input for the supply chain to run efficiently

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience of working with logistics in a global company
  • Experience with shipping and customs handling for China and experience working with TMALL is a plus
  • Experience working with Microsoft Navision or similar ERP system and Order Management System.
  • Strong understanding of Logistics processes and warehouse operations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle stakeholders at all levels in the organisation - speaking Chinese would be a huge benefit for this role, but not a requirement.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high sense of detail and good technical flair.

The position is based in our Copenhagen headquarter and you will report directly to the Head of Logistics.

You will be working out of our unique GANNI house located in the beautiful City Center of Copenhagen on top of the Bremerholm flagship store.
