“You will be front and centre when it comes to looking into the future of the business. Working on the master plan, your input will help shape the foundation for important decisions at management level,” says your new manager, Michael K. Pedersen, Director of Material Management Towers & Rotor.
Welcome to Global Supply Chain Management
Located at our blade factory in Nakskov (DK), you will join a newly established team, where you will be responsible for master planning in the segment covering our products within Towers & Rotor in our new Global Supply Chain. Our Global Supply Chain covers 3 functional areas, Procurement & Category Management, Supply Chain Engineering and Manufacturing & Material Management, which you will work across representing your segment.
“Your team is located at different locations, but they have a really good team spirit and will often use each other as sounding boards. Your new colleagues are experts within complex analyses and calculations, so you’ll have all the input you need,” explains Michael.
Do you love a good puzzle?
You will be responsible for the master planning in the Towers & Rotor segment which spans across production sites. Working closely with the local management teams at the different sites as well as our Sales organisation, you will analyse and identify possible production scenarios based on demand and capacity. Thus, you will play an important role in supporting long-term production planning.
You will have a broad interface across the factories as well as the headquarters. And you will have the opportunity to widen your horizon with occasional travel to the HQ in Aarhus as well as to the other blade factory on the Isle of Wight (UK). Your tasks will also include:
Participating in biweekly meetings with the overall master planning forum preparing scenarios for the monthly update of the overall master plan for all segments Looking into and coordinating assumptions for the segment master plan with stakeholders Developing and executing “What If?” scenarios Continuously developing the model for the master plan
“You have to be a logical thinker who loves a good puzzle – because we have many configurations and product types that come into play when we plan for demand and capacity across regions. Sales will give you a forecast, but you are the one to help decide where we have the capacity and where we can produce,” says Michael.
Networker with planning experience and an eye for detail
You most likely have a degree within supply chain management or perhaps production engineering combined with some years of experience from a similar position You have planning experience, enabling you to fully understand the requirements from processes and stakeholders You have good IT skills, especially in Excel You are fluent in English
“You are a great networker who enjoys an independent role with lots of stakeholders across our value chain. But at the same time, you can immerse yourself in analyses of large amounts of data and investigate the details – without losing sight of the end goal,” concludes Michael.
