Job Description
Danfoss Residential Heating is looking for a Manager – Project Procurement, who can define, build and implement a best practice Supply Chain PMO set-up in our business area. Your overall objective will be to lead and drive cost down and other improvement activities. You will be responsible for enabling a dedicated focus on selected high-priority projects by providing a clear overview of resources and key priorities to increase performance. Other main responsibilities include:
By managing your team of sourcing project managers, you will develop, motivate and improve employees’ performance through coaching, training and continuous improvement activities to ensure operational excellence.
Background and competencies
You have a bachelor and/or master’s degree and substantial work experience with project management together with a strong track record in project portfolio management. You have gained extensive leadership experience from a manufacturing environment in a large or medium-sized manufacturing company, why you are capable of taking ownership and leading by example. You have solid process experience within supply chain management and/or sourcing and procurement. Last, but not least, you have great communication skills both verbally and in writing and can manage a wide and global group of stakeholders.

- Establishing an overview of all projects in the Residential Heating supply chain. This will include ensuring transparency and status reporting on current project execution and performance.
- Driving change and continues improvement activities, challenge current mindset and behaviors.
- Conducting performance reviews and providing a consolidated supply chain reporting
- Looking into best practices for Supply Chain PMOs in relation to tools, templates, processes, governance, infrastructure and performance management.
