Do you want to work in a fast growing scale-up and take a leadership role in our Retail Marketing department at Hobbii? Then we are looking for you!
We have some exciting plans for the future of Hobbii and we are looking for an addition to our creative marketing team to help us boost Hobbii’s awareness even further. You will take the role as a team lead of our newest Retail Marketing division under the CRM Marketing team of about 1-2 employees (to start with). You’ll be focusing on how we can drive foot flow into the stores from an omnichannel perspective - optimizing our marketing efforts but still keeping it local.

We are expanding with rocket speed and were recently confirmed as the fastest-growing company in Denmark over the past four years. Generally, building something from scratch should excite you rather than terrify you... Don't worry, you won't be doing this alone; in the past year, we welcomed more than 170 people to our team from various backgrounds such as Bonnier, Pleo, GoMore and Google. We have plenty of ideas of how we should grow in the future and we are looking for more talented people to help us with this.

Hobbii is an eCommerce scaleup selling and shipping thousands of packages a day with yarn, knitting and crochet accessories to dedicated yarn lovers in 35+ countries. We’re a Danish company with an international outlook. Recently, we’ve launched a number of physical stores and aim to hit 50 stores within 3 years to supplement our online sales.

What you’ll be doing
- Developing strategies and tactics to boost Hobbii's awareness locally and drive qualified traffic
- Plan and coordinate the marketing activities to each retail store with the other marketing teams. This could be both off- and online activities such as Facebook ads or local emails and with these teams experimenting with various organic and paid acquisition channels to gain footflow
- Launch of new stores and products and gain the most out of these and responsible for managing special promotions into the stores
- Tracking and analyzing the performance of the retail advertising campaigns, managing the retail marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity
- Team Leader for a small retail marketing team with great growth-potential.
The skills needed to succeed/to master this role;
- We imagine that you have 3-6 years working experience within retail marketing. If you have started in a retail-store and afterwards building up marketing experience, we see that as an advantage
- Commercial awareness and data is a key driver in your approach of identifying the approach monitoring campaigns
- You can develop and manage campaigns from start to finish
- Good organisational and planning skills
- You are creative and value sharing ideas and best practices with your colleagues.
We’ll be thrilled if you;
- Have International experience (especially if you have worked with the German market - we’ll be extra thrilled)
- Have experience with retail stores who are also online
- Know something, or maybe just anything about yarn? Maybe you actually knit or crochet yourself?
