Do you enjoy managing and maintaining spare parts logistics inquiries for internal and external stakeholders and have a flair for Claim Handling? Then come and join our Order Fulfillment Team at Maersk Container Industry in Tinglev for one year!

This position will be located in Tinglev, Southern Denmark.

We offer

We are looking for a Logistics Assistant who is also keen on taking on some claim handling tasks or an additional Claim Handling Assistant.

As Logistic Assistant you will be a part of our Order Fulfilment Team which consists of 8 colleagues in Denmark.

We have strong local roots in Denmark but act on a truly global stage. Our headquarters are in Tinglev, close to the German/Danish border, however we have colleagues operating everywhere in the world.

Key responsibilities

As Logistic Assistant, your responsibilities are:

  • Maintenance of spare part logistics enquiries, both internal and external
  • Booking customer and distribution orders
  • Coordinating supply and transport of spare parts in regard to retrofit programs
  • Participate in solving new logistic assignment

In Claim Handling, the following tasks are required:

  • Review of incoming claims reports from our global Service Provider and Workshops
  • Support regarding other upcoming tasks
  • Approve, clarify doubts before approval or reject the claims

We are looking for

Ideally, you have an educational background within logistics or freight forwarding and several years of working experiences. Furthermore, experiences with claiming lost cargo would be an advantage.

If you are interested in taking on Claim Handling tasks, having knowledge of mechanics or mechanical components, or holding a technical education, would be advantageous

Possessing special certificates like IATA, ADR and IMDG would be greatly beneficial – but not a requirement.

You enjoy communicating with people around the globe and can navigate easily in IT programs and ERP systems (e.g. AX and/ or Hybris).

On a personal level you are structured and self-driven. You have a keen eye for details without losing the bigger overview on tasks. Furthermore, you have the ability to plan and coordinate processes and assignments.

Fluent English skills are required. Danish and/or “Sønderjysk” is an advantage ; )

Please note that we are seeking either a Logistics Assistant interested in assuming some Claim Handling responsibilities or two distinct positions: one Logistics Assistant and one Claim Handling Assistant.
