MOL Chemical Tankers Europe A/S is a leader within the chemical tanker industry, and part of MOL Chemical Tankers headquartered in Singapore, owned by the Japanese Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL). Under the MOL umbrella we are a total of approximately 9,000 employees. In MOL Chemical Tankers, we employ approximately 370 colleagues, and our core business is carrying chemicals, oils/fats, acids, petroleum products in bulk.

We are recruiting a Trainee for our Commercial departments in our Europe Division headquartered in Tuborg Habour, Hellerup, in spacious, bright, and inspiring office located in the heart of the Copenhagen shipping area.

You will be part of a global, diverse company with many nationalities employed at our offices in Asia, Europe and the Americas which will call for your strong skills to navigate among many cultures.

Our Trainee Program
As our Trainee, you will be provided with solid shipping knowledge and a thorough two-year education, varying between intensive practice and theory. The practical part mainly takes place at our division headquarters in Hellerup, but you will also visit our vessels for short trips, dockings, or inspections whenever the opportunity arises.

The theoretical part takes place at the Danish Shipping Academy, where you will learn about ship knowledge, maritime economics, maritime law and much more. During the practical education, you will be part of our commercial departments Chartering, Operations and Fleet Management while also getting introductions to support functions such as Business Controlling processes. We will set you up with high skilled colleagues, who are always ready to mentor, guide and support you.

Professional qualifications
· General Certificate of Secondary Education, Higher Commercial Education (HHX, STX etc.)
· Mathematics, minimum at B level
· Well versed in Microsoft Office programs
· Excellent English skills as our corporate language is English
· A bachelor’s degree or a maritime degree is welcome, but not a requirement
