JOIN OUR OFFSHORE WIND TEAM
COWIs Wind Energy business is rapidly growing, and we are looking for new colleagues to meet the demand for our services. You will play a crucial role in steering great projects and great people, ensuring operational and technical quality, and making our customers’ needs come true.
Since 1980, we have been involved in more than 1,000 wind power projects in 70 countries. The Wind Energy & Renewables department consists of 165 enthusiastic colleagues working from Denmark, Germany, Norway and Taiwan, while collaborating closely with energy and marine colleagues in the United Kingdom and North America.
DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS
You will join a progressive team of mechanical, structural, and geotechnical engineers that delivers offshore wind energy solutions and offers full lifecycle services to our customers. We have a proven history of making wind energy solutions possible even under the most complex conditions – deep waters, on challenging soil, and in regions with high seismic activity and typhoons/hurricanes. For offshore wind, we design both floating and bottom fixed structures. We are part of COWI's International business line, we embrace cultural diversity and highly value our social and friendly environment.
Together with the team, you will strengthen your site characterization and geotechnical design skills. Your primary work will be geotechnical site assessment, and geotechnical design, from an early project development phase throughout construction. You will be entrusted with the responsibility for approval of designs, assessments, and calculations in accordance with quality procedures and coordination of work. There will be amble opportunities to influence and shape the solutions delivered to our clients. Together we pave the way for best practice approaches adopted across the department, and you can look forward to collaborating with colleagues in contributing to this.
We have offices in Denmark (Lyngby HQ, Aarhus and Aalborg) and Germany (Hamburg) – you have free choice in picking a location.
You can look forward to an exciting workday, which typically entails:
