<p>As our new <strong>Interface Manager,</strong> you will be part of our global Offshore Wind Advisory team. You will take on a role of interface manager in an advisory project where we support developers in the execution phase of an offshore wind farm, managing interfaces between the EPCI and project packages, and supporting the project management in all matters regarding interfaces. </p><p>If you crave a challenging role but also flexibility and work life balance, this role may be ideal for you. Since 2007 we have been involved in floating offshore wind and today have a dedicated team of experts supporting clients globally. </p><p>Within Ramboll, over 600 highly qualified experts are working on onshore and offshore wind projects globally, operating primarily from our 15 key offices across the Nordics, Germany, UK, Poland, Spain, Japan, Korea, and the US. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Your tasks and responsibilities </strong></p><p>As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will take on diverse tasks and responsibilities in international projects of varied complexity and scale, such as: </p><ul><li>Support project management in all organizational matters and day-to-day operations regarding interfaces </li><li>Ensure that interface management is aligned with project organization and contract setup </li><li>Liaise and collaborate closely with the package managers, package teams and support functions </li><li>Ensure that interfaces are managed from a holistic, project perspective and Client objectives </li><li>Ensure that technical interfaces between packages are identified, properly described and that responsibility splits are agreed and allocated </li><li>Establish and maintain an interface register and follow-up on interface status as well as gaps, issues and risks/opportunities </li><li>Prepare decision proposals (including assessment of impact on safety, quality, budget and schedule) and gather required input for the Management of Change process </li><li>Host regular interface alignment meetings between relevant packages/parties </li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Your qualifications</strong> </p><ul><li>Master’s degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, preferably with focus on design of offshore steel structures or similar areas of study </li><li>Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with planning / executing of international offshore wind projects </li><li>Experienced and successfully completed at least one major / large offshore wind development </li><li>Demonstrates understanding of sequencing of project planning and interfaces </li><li>Commercial understanding to describe and document interfaces </li><li>Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and make independent decisions </li><li>Customer oriented approach as well as self-reliant, reliable, detail-oriented, structured way of working </li><li>People management skills in the context of managing various stakeholders locally and remotely </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with all various level of management within the company and with potential clients, suppliers, subcontractors and partners </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment </li><li>High level of proficiency in written and spoken English </li><li>High integrity and team spirit, proactively engaging with others and offering support when required </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Welcome to our Energy division </strong></p><p>Ramboll is at the forefront of addressing the green energy transition and offers a holistic approach that supports the sector on the journey towards more sustainable solutions.
