Job Description:
As a Shipping Coordinator at Normal A/S, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of our shipping and logistics operations. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of shipping, from order processing to shipment, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Place of Employment:
You will maybe start your journey with us at our warehouse North of Horsens in Gedved, but we are in the process of building a new logistics center in Hedensted, where we will be moving to later in 2023.

Job Description:
As a Shipping Coordinator at Normal A/S, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of our shipping and logistics operations. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of shipping, from order processing to shipment, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all shipping activities, including order processing, packaging, and booking of shipments.
- Work closely with our warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and couriers to arrange shipments.
- Monitor and maintain shipping records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Handle inquiries and concerns related to shipping.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization in the shipping department.
- In this department, we encourage an open-minded and adaptable mindset, as work assignments may evolve during our transition to a new warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics coordination role is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and systems (e.g., Office, Outlook and right now WAMAS in Horsens and a new system called KWA in Hedensted).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of ADR (Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) and customs duty is highly desirable.
