You will be Maritime Operation Manager in Maritime and Aviation Solutions (MAS) who has the global responsibility for the maritime and aviation logistic solutions which are used to support service on the offshore wind turbines.
MAS takes care of defining the right solution, support sales and tender the vessel or helicopter as well as being deeply involved in the operation management of the asset.
You will be part of a strong and dedicated team, who are specialist in planning, preparation and execution complex maritime operation. This includes jack up, crane barge or other vessel solutions.

Maritime Aviation and Solutions team is driven to deliver the best logistic solution or concept in the market with focus on safety, innovation and cost effective. Thereby the team support Siemens Gamesa to deliver first class solutions and products to the customers - like Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV), Service Operation Vessel (SOV) and jack up solutions.
You will be the key stakeholder and your tasks is to plan and support the operation of jack up or other maritime vessels, which support major component exchange and complex tasks. You will have the overall responsibility to ensure the maritime vessels operate safe and effective in full alignment with class sociality, national regulation and other parties’ requirements as well being involved in vessel interfaces setup and equipment. You will work with many different interfaces and have full stakeholder and project management responsibility for different maritime operations.
What you need to make a difference
You shall have a technical education at MSc level (e.g. Naval Architect, Marine Officer or Engineer) combined with experience from the maritime industry, preferably from vessel design, engineering & offshore operations. For the position it will be beneficial if you have a strong understanding of vessel regulatory requirements, design and performance and knowledge of offshore wind projects, in particular operations of jack-up vessels and other vessel types.
You have an open- and proactive mindset with strong strategic and analytical skills. You have a drive and motivation for Renewable Energy and have a result and quality-orientated approach. At the same time, you shall be a dedicated team player with the ability to manage and motivate smaller teams to perform successfully and find solutions when it is required. You will be part of an exciting multi-cultural environment and need to be strong in English communication written as well as verbally.
