Take your career to the next level. The Renewables Division, Large Projects is looking for an Engineering Manager.
The Engineering Manager is responsible for overall project engineering scope. This includes assuming full technical responsibility within the commercial frames of the project (Cost, Time & Quality). Our activities are currently in the offshore wind markets in Europe, Taiwan and the USA.
Key responsibilities and tasks
Above all, you will be technically accountable within the commercial frames of the project (Cost, Time & Quality) including adherence to the following key performance indicators:

You have experience as an Engineer from the offshore industry and hold a Bachelor or a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or you have another relevant background. You have good communication skills ensuring high professional relationships with your stakeholders. You have a mindset of delivering to a high standard.

The Engineering Manager is responsible for overall project engineering scope. This includes assuming full technical responsibility within the commercial frames of the project (Cost, Time & Quality). Our activities are currently in the offshore wind markets in Europe, Taiwan and the USA.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Preparation of estimates, offers and calculations during the budget & quotation phase of a project.
- Organize, plan, coordinate and follow up on the Engineering scope of the project.
- Communicating clear objectives to the engineering design team, ensuring that individual objectives are communicated through relevant subordinates.
- Ensuring that sufficient resources are allocated to the Engineering design team.
- Holding regular meetings with the engineering design team to ensure updating of project status, milestone, objectives and key performance indicators etc.
- Secure interface alignment between engineering disciplines and ensure that project members carry out the assignments according to contract, schedules, specifications and legislation
- Assisting procurement during sub-supplier negotiations
- Ensuring delivery of all engineering documents and final documentation
- Ensuring that non-conformities, improvement proposals are reported into Solodyne (NCR’s)
- Responsible for implementation of Semco Maritime’s Quality Management system.
- Identifying all changes in SOW and inform PM of the consequences in terms of time and economy before work is initiated
- Conducting risk- and opportunity management.

- Adherence to engineering budget
- Adherence to delivery time
- Customer and employee satisfaction
Your profile
