As a NDT Assistant, your activities will include the following:
- Assist in ANDT/NDT inspection of client static equipment, as assigned by the onshore project engineers, including pressure vessels, columns, drums, heat exchangers, boilers, coolers, tanks, valves and piping systems throughout the plant including reporting according to relevant standards & Bilfinger procedures
- Assist with NDT of new welds in connection with fabrication, installation and repair of piping systems, pressure vessels and structures
- Assist with NDT in connection with internal/external corrosion for clarification of extend of corrosion and determination of remaining wall thickness.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential
- ISO 9712 Level 1 Ultrasonic Testing
- Offshore Survival Certification (BOSIET/FOET incl. CA-EBS)
- Offshore Medical
- Basic H2S Course
- Assistant operators must participate in a radiation safety course approved by the Danish Health and Medicines Authority for handling of gamma sources.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Desirable
- IRATA qualification (Level 1, 2 or 3)
- ISO 9712 Level 1 or 2 Eddy Current Testing
- ISO 9712 Level 1 or 2 Radiographic Testing
- ISO 9712 Level 1 or 2 Visual Testing (Alternatively CSWIP or IWI/S)
- ISO 9712 Level 1 or 2 MPI Testing
- ISO 9712 Level 1 or 2 DPI Testing
