On behalf of Baltnav, MARPRO is looking for a Marine Controller to their office in Copenhagen.
Baltnav is active in the Handysize to Ultramax drybulk segments with a worldwide reach and operating about 60 vessels. Through their background they have a strong focus on Continent, Mediterranean/Black Sea, East Coast South America, Australia and Far East.
Baltnav is currently looking to employ a Marine Controller to their office in Copenhagen.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Finalizing TCI and TCO hire statements
- Closing voyages in IMOS
- Handling commission and bunker invoices
- Involved in monthly and yearly closing
- Assisting with auditing
- Ad hoc:
- Approving hire payments
- Assist with processing laytime calc and final freight - Collect outstanding payments
- Coordinate with P&I clubs/Legal desk when necessary
Experience/profile
- Relevant shipping background
- Min. 2–4 years’ experience in similar position
- Detail oriented
- Like to take ownership of tasks ahead
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Experience with IMOS and Navision is an advantage
