Nel Hydrogen is a global frontrunner in developing and producing hydrogen refueling stations, and as production of large-scale hydrogen cars, buses and trucks will increase significantly in the coming years, the market and demand for hydrogen stations will continue to grow. Today, more than 200 employees work passionately each day at Nel Hydrogen’s Danish department, and they are now looking for an experienced and skilled Shipping Coordinator, who will make sure that important refueling station parts reach other sides of the world.

As Shipping Coordinator …
… you play a significant and crucial role in making sure that spare parts will be sent in the most efficient and secure way from Nel Hydrogen’s warehouse in Denmark all the way to the company’s Service departments in both North America and South Korea. Being part of the Service Team in Lind near Herning, you are responsible for identifying the most optimal shipment of the parts. This includes registration of service orders, contacting and coordinating with both colleagues and couriers, and following up on delivery orders.

More precisely, your day will look like this:

  • Receiving and handling service orders from either the Global Service departments in North America and South Korea or from colleagues in for example Technology & Development department, who trust that you register correct information in the used ERP-system, so that your inhouse colleagues will know what to both buy and expect receiving in the warehouse
  • Planning and managing global shipments, primarily by sea and road, but in urgent cases, also in air
  • Taking contact to and negotiating with couriers, whereafter you create and develop export documentation for the shipment, making sure they comply with the contract terms and conditions
  • Ensuring that the shipping methods comply with local, state, federal and international regulations
  • Collaborating with the Finance department about invoiced sales orders

About you
To be successful as Shipping Coordinator at Nel Hydrogen, you must have excellent attention to detail, and easily multitask daily. Furthermore, you are a great fit for the role if you:

  • Are great at interacting with many different stakeholders, both externally and internally. Hence, you possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Have professional experience with overseas shipment and are familiar with the handling of fragile freight
  • Are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken
  • React proactively and fast on requests with an eye to securing the best possible shipment and thrive in working both independently and together with others
