Trading Platform Manager
Saxo Bank offers several award-winning online platforms and APIs to retail and institutional traders and investors globally. We offer execution across a wide range of assets including Stocks, ETFs, CFDs, Forex, Options, Futures, Funds, Warrants, Turbos and Bonds, all from a single consolidated account as well as a full suite of back office services.
THE JOB
We are now looking for a qualified candidate who can help us realize our strategic ambitions by owning and defining the future for our proprietary trading platforms servicing clients across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
Your responsibility
- You will join the trading platform team who are responsible for the client facing and industry leading trading platforms - SaxoTraderGO and SaxoTraderPRO
- Together with the other trading platform managers and the IT development teams you will create and manage the roadmap and strategic direction of the trading platforms
- You will analyze the competitive situation and specify new functionality in line with the strategy, commercial wishes and client feedback
- You will take on the responsibility to oversee the development cycle as well as the launch process taking a full end-to-end product management perspective
- As a trading platform manager you will be a key player in the cooperation between management, commercial stakeholders and IT development teams
- Your success is not only based on your position but also on your strong communication and collaboration skills notably your ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
YOUR PROFILE
Required skills and competences:
- You have multiple years of experience as Product Manager or Product Owner in an IT development context
- You have a background working in the financial markets and as a "tech native" you are excited about the prospect of combining these interests
- You have a very good understanding of any or more of the financial market products – stocks, bonds, forex, options, funds - and the tools customers need to analyze and trade them
- You can relate to the needs of traders and investors and possible issues they are experiencing. Customers can trust you to be able to translate their feedback into product and service improvements
- You are an energetic, motivated person who is comfortable working both as part of a team and also independently
- You are comfortable with collaboration and reaching out across teams and functional borders and serve as a liaison when needed
- As a natural presenter you can easily connect and align stakeholders on all levels of the Saxo Bank organization
- You enjoy working in an international and fast-paced agile environment
- You possess problem solving skills and easily find creative ways of driving progress and removing impediments
- You are results-oriented, always striving for maximal consumer value as early as possible
- You are a structured thinker and have the ability to handle complexity
