Sibelco Denmark located on the island Bornholm established 1971. Our operation at Ronne on Bornholm includes a seagoing dredge where sand is dredged from the Baltic Sea and a processing plant with sand storage with supporting services of laboratory, operations services and site administration.
We currently have a vacancy for a mate, in coordination with two supervisors, to supervise and perform the Dredger Stf. AHLSELL activities in a safe and healthy way in Rønne, Bornholm, Denmark. The mate will, in coordination with the two supervisors, be responsible for the safe and efficient running and sailing of the Dredger by organizing, optimizing and continually improving the Dredger activities.
Key Role Responsibilities in coordination with two other supervisors to:
Supervise and run the Dredger activities.
Supervise the activities and the team for the site according to our Operational Excellence principles.
Lead and develop the team on dredger.
Execute activities to fulfill the set KPI’s; quality and quantity
Implement, maintain and improve processes and standards at the site with support of the team
Follow-up with regulatory and permit enquiries as well as internal policies, standards and guidelines

Requirements:
- Certificate – minimum skipper (In Danish “Kystskipper or sætteskipper” the latter preferred)
- Experience with dredging activity preferred
- Managing hands-on
- Management skills / experience
- Understand variety of processes
- Total quality and HS tools
- Flexibility to change continuously according to needs of changed planning
- Team player
- pragmatic approach
- Good communication skills on different levels in organization
- Change management
- Flexibility to work in a changing environment
- Skipper degree and minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Multi-lingual (Danish and English required) skills
