Technical sales engineer for a leading company in quality pumps for the marine industry
Do you fancy a job where you can put both your sales skills and your technical flair into play? Where you have contact with customers from all over the world with whom you have technically complicated conversations in order to meet exactly their needs? About the job
With a customer satisfaction rate of more than four stars out of five, fortunately we have many satisfied customers that you will be responsible for. Of course, you will also be responsible for new customers, just as you will help sell through our agents. Your task will mainly be to sell quality pumps to the marine market, but you must be open to serve the industrial market as well.
You will become part of our sales team, where you will contribute to a joint sales effort, while at the same time you will be responsible for your own sales budget and for planning your sales efforts.

About you
You have some years of experience as a technical salesperson, preferably within the maritime or energy sector. You are most likely a marine engineer or similar. You know the seller's toolbox and find technical sales with a lot of customer contact exciting. EU work permit is a requirement.
Technical sale is our strength, and we take pride in selecting the right solutions for our customers. Therefore, it is important that you have the capacity to participate in relatively technically complicated dialogues, where you are able to listen and ask relevant questions.

- Responsible for own sales budget as well as monitoring sales data, market trends and customer needs.
- Planning and implementation of sales efforts, including customer visits and fairs.
- Processing and prioritization of customer inquiries.
- Technical clarification and selection of the correct pumps meeting customer needs.
- Quotations and follow-up.
- 15-20 travel days annually.
About you

- be results-oriented, careful, and persistent.
- have good technical insight.
- be outgoing, be good at customer contact and able to listen to customer needs.
- have good communication skills in both writing and speaking. English at fluent level and possibly an additional main language.
- have a good mood and are a good team player.
- have good collaboration skills and a flexible attitude.
- be an experienced user of the Office suite and preferably SAP or similar ERP system.
