FORCE Technology’s Maritime business unit in Lyngby provides services to the global construction and maritime industries. Our services cover advanced ship simulations, experimental and computational evaluation of ships, offshore structures, buildings and bridges to assess and optimize their performance and secure designs that are safe and efficient during operation.
The Hydro and Aerodynamics Department provides consultancy assistance to our clients in connection with design optimization and verification. Our services are based on physical measurements in wind tunnels and towing tanks as well as CFD computations.
About the role and key responsibilities
As Sales Manager you will be working with sales of our large portfolio of services directed towards the shipping, the offshore and the offshore-wind industries, i.e., primarily services based on numerical simulations and model testing.
You will be an important part of our sales team and have an influence on sales and marketing strategy and plans, market assessment and development of new services. Your key tasks will be:

You may have a background in naval architecture, ocean engineering or offshore wind and are keen to expand your existing sales network to identify new opportunities and work proactively with clients. It is important that you enjoy working in an international environment as your colleagues and clients are of many nationalities. For the same reason, good communication skills and English at a professional level is needed. Some travel activity is to be expected.

About the role and key responsibilities
As Sales Manager you will be working with sales of our large portfolio of services directed towards the shipping, the offshore and the offshore-wind industries, i.e., primarily services based on numerical simulations and model testing.
You will be an important part of our sales team and have an influence on sales and marketing strategy and plans, market assessment and development of new services. Your key tasks will be:
- Lead generation, client visits and follow up on quotations
- Compose quotations with support from our technical specialists and liaise with our legal department
- Preparation of sales campaigns in cooperation with our marketing department
- Preparation of marketing material in cooperation with our marketing department
- Participation in fairs and exhibitions worldwide
sales reporting to the Head of Department.
Your profile
You may have a background in naval architecture, ocean engineering or offshore wind and are keen to expand your existing sales network to identify new opportunities and work proactively with clients. Furthermore, you have an analytical and structured approach to your work, and you can provide a focused client presentation. In addition, you are:
- Experienced in technical sales within the maritime sector
- Experienced with sales of technical services
- Knowledgeable of the maritime industry
- Talented at building good working relationships; you possess a commercial mindset and enjoy finding new business opportunities
an experienced user of MS-Office and Sales Force.
It is important that you enjoy working in an international environment as your colleagues and clients are of many nationalities. For the same reason, good communication skills and English at a professional level is needed. Some travel activity is to be expected.
