SBJV I/S IS LOOKING FOR SAILORS TO BE A PART OF BUILDING THE NEW STORSTRØMS BRIDGE

The Project

Located in Vordingborg, Denmark, the new bridge will accommodate a two-lane road, a double-track railway for high-speed trains, as well as a shared use route for pedestrians and cyclists. Once complete, the new Storstrøm Bridge will be the third longest bridge in Denmark.

What we are looking for:

SBJV is looking for Sailors who can help with operations on the new Storstrøm Bridge, preferably someone who possess the following attributes:

The Job will consist of the following:

• Sailing with Coordination and Work boats
• Survey assignments
• Sailing with personnel for various tasks

The boats are brand new with a max. length of 8M. - Open boats with no possibility of overnighting.

The working hours will be between 06: 00-18: 00, Monday - Friday, overtime may occur.

Salary will be hourly paid, determined according to qualifications.

The Ideal candidate:

• Experience in Marine Construction operations;
• Possess a Maritime Safety Course Certificate (Søsikkerhedskursus)
• Willing to work in difficult weather conditions;
• High performing with attention to details;
• It will be an advantage to live close by, in case of emergencies;

Qualifications Required

• Certificate as an able ship assistant
• Certificate as an ordinary ship assistant
• the basic module of the ship assistant training programme
• Final training module of the ship assistant
• Experience in Marine construction operation
